Terms and Conditions 

 

§  Your authorized representative must be present at your booth at the agreed-upon date and time to take delivery of the equipment. Please note that the equipment can only be delivered at your booth in the presence of your authorized representative.

 

§  The equipment remains your responsibility until an Expert'Ease representative comes to pick it up. Never leave the equipment unattended at your booth unless your authorized representative is present.

 

§  Insurance covering the replacement value of the rented equipment is the responsibility of the customer.

 

§  The customer agrees to be subject to the licenses and copyrights relating to the software included in the rented equipment. 

 

§  Expert'Ease declines all responsibility for equipment performance issues caused by software belonging to the customer.

 

 

 CANCELLATION POLICY

 If cancellation occurs less than seven (7) days before the scheduled installation/Delivery date, the total amount of the contract (100%) will be charged. 

 If cancellation occurs between eight (8) and fourteen (14) days before the scheduled installation date, 50% of the total value of the contract will be charged.

 

VENUE SERVICE FEES 

All fees charged by the venue for labor, electricity, electrical connection, in-house sound system, in-house video system, or internal telecommunications network, furniture and setup, or any other fees charged by the venue in connection with our activities performed on behalf of the customer at that venue shall be the responsibility of the customer and shall be submitted and billed directly to the customer by the venue.

 

WARRANTY AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Expert'Ease guarantees the proper functioning and uninterrupted operation of the equipment under normal conditions of use. We accept no responsibility for circumstances beyond our control, such as power failures, faulty freight elevators, or malfunctioning equipment venue ordered by the client (projectors, lights, speakers, etc.). Expert'Ease's liability in all cases is limited to the amount of the contract. 

 

HEALTH AND SAFETY

Expert’Ease requires its employees to take the necessary measures to protect their health, safety, and physical integrity and to ensure that they do not endanger the health, safety, and physical integrity of other people at the workplace or at our clients' event venues. We authorize our employees who have concerns about health and safety at the venue and identify potential hazards to contact the person responsible for the event to find solutions to eliminate potential hazards.

 

EXTERNAL EQUIPMENT 

In the event that the client decides to use equipment other than that provided by Expert'Ease, the client is responsible for any technical problems that may arise. In the event that a technician is required to perform troubleshooting and finds that the problem stems from external equipment, the troubleshooting time may be charged in addition to the equipment necessary to resolve the issue.
